I wanted to express my thanks to both Santiago at the front desk and Cedric in the lounge bar for making my stay at La Tortuga absolutely wonderful. The Agora restaurant, was the best meal I had in playa. The staff and service was great. I look forward to living in playa next year and recommending La Tortuga to all visitors...it is truly a gem of a spot. Muchos Gracias! Nancy....

We spent our honeymoon in this wonderful hotel on june 2002! Wonderful, we miss it!!!! Special thanks to all the staff (hotel and restaurant). A special thanks to dr. Non ho le parole per spigare la STRAORDINARIETA'del vostro Hotel. La posizione super strategica a 2 minuti da tutta la movida e 5 minuti dal mare, la cordialità e simpatia del personale al top,gli interni caratteristici e stupendi e dir poco per non parlare dei simpaticissimi Giancarlo e Antonella (del ristorante): veramente dei NUMERI UNO in tutti i sensi. Insomma quando si và alla Tortuga si sta a casa propria. Sicuro ci ritornero'. VI ADORO.

Muchas gracias to the staff at Hotel La Tortuga...I just returned from a two week stay, which included the Spanish Language package. The hotel is beautiful, the staff is friendly, and the Spanish Language school was an excellent addition to my stay. The hotel's central location is fabulous...and just one block away from busy Avenida Cinqo. I will return!!

Once again we had a marvelous stay at la tortuga. We really enjoy the wonderful rooms, with their great little patios, the friendly staff, and the great towel art complete with flower petals. We always enjoy being there and we always hate to leave. Thank you for a great end to our summer vacation :)

My family stayed at La Hotel Tortuga for 8 nights returning July 14 , 2004. The combination of pool area, hotel rooms and service was excellent. This hotel is close to all the downtown activity and a short walk to Mamitas beach club (also excellent). We will definitely be returning. Muchas Gracias.

I just got back from an all too short week long stay in Playa del Carmen at La Hotel Tortuga. Words cannot express the wonderful time I had there. Special thanks to Giancarlo, Antonella, and Antonio for their genuine friendliness. The food in the Agora restaurant was unbelievable. I recommend the lobster. Everything was immaculate and the pool and lounge area was beautiful. I have already begun planning my next visit hopefully for two weeks this time at the end of this year. Gracias

We have been to La Tortuga twice in 2003, and absolutely loved this charming hotel. Just wanted to let La Tortuga staff know that every vacation we've been on ever since, we've compared to Playa, and nothing can beat the amazing time we've had here. The service and the atmosphere was incredible. Special thanks to Bernardo, and the restaurant staff for making our trips unforgetable. We can't wait to come back, so see you all in August 2004!

Hola desde Innsbruck! It's been some time since our stay at La Tortuga in January, but we still think back of the great time we had. Playa del Carmen was our place to relax after a two weeks' roundtrip throughout Mexico and we had very high expectations: La Tortuga was able to fulfill - and even surpass - them all! We especially enjoyed our comfortable swim-up room and the relaxed beach club. The pool gives the hotel a very unique look, especially in the evening with all the lights on. Service was great as well. We had a wonderful time at La Tortuga and can recommend it to everyone! P.S. Our friends were very jealous when they saw the pictures we took at the hotel :-)

We stayed at Hotel La Tortuga for our honeymoon in January. It was everything we could've wanted in a hotel. It was romantic, comfortable and very quaint! The staff was very helpful with dining and tour suggestions. It was so great being so close to 5th Avenue as well. We really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely return!

A friend and I stayed Feb. 21-28, 2004. The staff was helpful in booking us tours (Tulum & Xel-Ha, Chichen Itza, and snorkeling) and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable (special thanks to Barbara!). I would stay here again in a return visit...the Playa Del Carmen area is beautiful! Thank you :)
